1975 Ford Taunus

Working on this project for a friend of ours; the car was in his family for 25 years, used as a daily driver for 24 and for the last year was put aside in a garage. Now the new generation in the family decided to revive it and also use it as a daily driver. So, even if at first sight it looks very good, the car has a lot of issues: some years ago it's body was "rebuilt" by someone that does not take pride in his work, and the result are more than poor: a lot of rust, a lot of patces welded over rusty metal, a lot of unnecessary bondo, poor insulation, etc. The only good news is that the owner took good care of the car, it was very well greased and maintaned, so it's a solid base for a restoration. Plan is to repair all the body, engine, all mechanics and a great paint job smile emoticon

1954 Terrot 500 RGST

With the help of Mihai Preda and Retromobil Club Romania, i had the chance to buy this beauty: 500 cc, 4 stroke engine, french production. It's complete, no mods, all original. Will start restoration only after finishing the MZ RT 125

vintage tricycle restoration

found this old tricycle in a flea market some one year ago, and probably overpaid for it, but hey, that's life, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose :).
Will be very satisfied if at some point a kid will be happy riding it.
Plan is to sand it, powdercoat it, polish the aluminium and hand craft leather handles.
Will also need new fenders, a job for "Garaju' lu' Octav"

old "Fram" fridge project

for some time already have been looking for some old romanian fridges, and i was lucky enough to fine 2 at the same time :) ; one came from ard 700 km, the other from close to 500 km, but i think they both worth the fuss; good overall condition, no dents, very little rust, and complete with all trims and accessories; as you can see, very dirty, but what can you expect from a 40-50 years old fridge? The plan is to clean, paint, change the rubbers, polish, blast/powdercoat the grills and upgrade all the "mechanics": convert from static refrigeration (ammonium) to more modern, compressor and freon one.
this is how i picked them up:

mz rt 125 after sandblasing

Decided that manual cleaning takes too much time and effort, and took all the pieces to blasting. Below the result, including the need of a new rear fender and handlebar :)

carbs cleaning 1977 GS500e

Previous owner had no idea what to do with the carbs, but he did it anyway :)
Result: poor starting (or no starting at all), erratic idle (or no idele at all) and huge fuel consumption. After some 2 hours of  care, bike started first kick and  idles great (also performed a manual sync - vacuumatic one to follow shortly).
